Cinematography video feedback

 1) Type up your feedback/comments from your teacher.

Camera quality is not a problem for this project but definitely one to consider for future projects, nice range of shots and correctly labelled, I really like the narrative works perfectly for the brief. Some good camera movement but not sure on the zoom style transitions. I like it when its a match-cut style but not sure on the zoom in transitions.

2) Type up your feedback from fellow students.

Good transition bad camera quality and very shaky. Good use of audio however a lot of background noise which ruined the video. Weird crop but amazing transitions.

3) Now reflect on your work and write your own summary of the comments and feedback you have received. Write three WWWs and three EBIs.

WWWs: Good transitions, Good use of music clips, good location use and accurate labelling of shots.
EBIs: The camera was very shaky, the background noise was too loud whereas the dialogue was quiet quiet and the camera quality could have been improved significantly.

4) Learner response: think about what you learned about cinematography making the video and also watching others. What will you do differently when you start the coursework in the summer? What tips or tricks have you learned from others that you can use next time? Are there any specific aspects of camerawork that you need to revise or practice?

For future coursework and projects my focus will be on utilising high quality equipment which an make my videos better for example tripods and better cameras. Moreover microphones can be used to help the audio of the overall video. Overall, I have learned that in cinematography every detail matters especially minimalistic camera shots as these are the foundation to a video and help the audience identify what the focus should be on and what is going on in the video. I believe that I can accurately label different types of camera shots but one of my weak points would be actually using a camera to film the shots as in the video most of the shots were unstable and shaky.
