Cinematography video feedback

  1) Type up your feedback/comments from your teacher. Camera quality is not a problem for this project but definitely one to consider for future projects, nice range of shots and correctly labelled, I really like the narrative works perfectly for the brief. Some good camera movement but not sure on the zoom style transitions. I like it when its a match-cut style but not sure on the zoom in transitions. 2) Type up your feedback from fellow students. Good transition bad camera quality and very shaky. Good use of audio however a lot of background noise which ruined the video. Weird crop but amazing transitions. 3) Now reflect on your work and write your own summary of the comments and feedback you have received. Write  three  WWWs and  three  EBIs. WWWs: Good transitions, Good use of music clips, good location use and accurate labelling of shots.   Find the  opening sequence  to a film or TV drama of your choice on YouTube and e mbed the video in a blogpost called 'Cinematography blog tasks'.  1) Write an analysis of the cinematography in the opening sequence.  Highlight  your use of media language and try to cover camera shots, angles and movement using the terminology we have learned in lessons. At the beginning an extreme wide shot is used to establish the portal which connects earth and the alien planet together. The camera slowly moves forwards and then is interrupted by a bright light. The scene then switches to a bridge and through handheld camera movement one of the monsters or a "kaiju" is revealed. The angle of the camera is also low to high compared to the monster which gives an illusion of superiority to the monster and makes him appear dominant and sky-conquering compared to the people who are shown to be minuscule.
