  1) Type up your feedback   in full   including the ratings out of five for each of the categories. Research 5 TV drama concept 5 Language  Terminology and theory 4 Representations 2 Audience and industry 2 Delivery 4 Total 22/30  Strong opening, excellent use of images. Already feels like a wire or top boy style idea, point on montage, POV shots show excellent thoughts behind opening. Some great iconography- pin board is a classic crime drama convention.  Really well developed narrative already great detail. Is there too much for 3 minutes though? I also think that if you need all of this perhaps some of this needs to be trailed rather than shown? This feels like a full episode. Superb delivery and use of images in presentation. Whole presentation is narrative but lacks media elements of language representations audience ect. Excellent for crime genre conventions but would like to see some media theorists. The Specials - Ghost Town: Blog tasks

1)  Why does the writer link the song to cinematic soundtracks and music hall tradition? The music creates a "lyrical landscape". 2) What subcultures did 2 Tone emerge from in the late 1970s?  Sub cultures of two tone/punk emerged at the time. 3) What social contexts are discussed regarding the UK in 1981?  There were a lot of riots due to the unemployment rates at the time. Deprived areas were taken over by young black and white people. 4) Cultural critic Mark Fisher describes the video as ‘eerie’. What do you think is 'eerie' about the Ghost Town video? He might be talking about the subtle tone of how empty the place is in the video. 5) Look at the final section (‘Not a dance track’). What does the writer suggest might be the meanings created in the video? Do you agree? The video is dedicated towards those who feel like they are unable to voice their opinions about their unemployment and their lack of money. Statement of Intent feedback and learner response

  Title: The vigilante My show will appear on netflix and amazon prime due to the audience that consumes these streaming services and also because the content that appears on these streaming services match the genre conventions that I will be aiming to fulfill in my video production. What will my 3 minute extract feature: In my extract I will focus on creating a narrative which features Mark who has had a traumatic upbringing, this upbringing will be highly intensified through various camera shots which will focus on the traumatic death of his mother when he was younger. This is then what leads him to become a vigilante which focuses on him tracking down criminals in an attempt to see who murdered his mother so that he can finally end up with justice. This will be highlighted through montage scenes of him tracking down criminals followed by various camera angles to show the variety of criminals he has tackled.
