In this scene we can identify two characters in which the character in front appears to be stunned/perplexed possibly as to something which is in front of him which is supported by the character behind him pointing towards something. Not only does this create tension but as a result it suggest something negative may happen to the characters. Another clue to aid this agenda is the fact that the character in front appears to be covered by feathers hinting that he has been through a trap of some sort. Another thing one can analyse is the fact that the character in the front has his hands downs and not in front of him suggesting that he himself was unaware/unsuspecting of the possible danger that is going to occur. Another factor are the small "bits and bobs" in the background next to the character in the back which reveal that the character in the back has fallen because of this suggesting that the house is full of traps.

Man of steel scene:

In the beginning few seconds one can immediately establish a sense of superiority and power as the lightning completely covers Superman giving him a godly/angelic glow emphasising his power and strength and another key point is about his costume in which the cape behind him suggests he is omnipotent, Moreover the main colour is blue which could suggest hope and a sense of Superman being a saviour as it is bright and bold whereas this is in complete contrast to the movie Scream as at the start one can establish that a theme of horror is being created as the music is very sudden and loud with hints of eerie noises in the background, moreover the general lightning of this scene is quite dull in comparison to that of Superman revealing that the movie is not full of powerful energy but more of a sinister and daunting form of energy. Towards the middle of Superman we can see that he is attempting to fly as seen via the clouds covering most of his face with loud wind noises however this turns into a failed attempt as he quickly collides with a mountain, through the use of sound and visual effects this collision is greatly emphasised, moreover through Superman screams one can tell that he is afraid as he has never fallen from a height such as this before creating tension as one wonders what will happen next whereas in Scream towards the middle tension is created through the bag of popcorn being cooked as the sounds are very loud and moreover one can see that the main character is desperately searching/looking into the windows to see if there is someone out there watching her. This creates suspense as we can tell that something sinister/bizarre may be happening to her. Another key detail is when she locks the lock on her garden door which suggests that she herself is aware that she is in possible danger and is trying to be safe. This point can be supported further as in the middle she can be spotted running around the house closing all locks and doors.
